Thirty five years of commitment to the craft of making ceramic ware has been fueled by a fascination with form and function that never gets old.
As a functional potter, I have challenged myself to attain a level of quality in my work so that those who acquire the pieces are continually pleased with the form, function, and uniqueness of the glazes I have used.
My style of using brightly colored glaze over high fired porcelain clay has been influenced by the initial challenges of my first teachers, Robert Karlinsey at Loyola University and Neil Moss at El Camino College.
I currently work out of my home studio in Yucaipa, California using ahigh fire gas kiln. I display my work at VisionQuest’s Gallery and attend four or five art shows a year. This is a high fire gas kiln that fires to 2350 F for the glazed pottery.
